7 Months

Dear Ian,

Today you are seven months old. It seems totally impossible that you are seven months old, but you are. In the last month you have learned so many new things. You are sitting up alone for long periods of time. You have developed quite an interest in things, and you let us know when you are not getting what you want. You love the remote control and want to eat it constantly.

Speaking of eating, you started eating finger foods this month. You eat cheerios, and these little baby puffs that Gerber makes. You also like biter biscuits. Tonight you had some potato, but you weren't so impressed. You went on a veggie strike for a while this month, but you started eating them again after about 1 1/2 weeks.

During this month you had an Upper GI done to make sure that your insides were ok. Everything was fine, but you didn't really enjoy the experience. You cried a lot, but you did get all the doctors to sing the ABC song to try and calm you down. Your reflux is doing a lot better and you are much happier.

You got your first tooth last week! It's just working it's way up, but you can see it when you open your mouth. You try and hide it from us though.

This month you really started to like your Jump-A-Roo thing. You can bounce in there for 30-45 minutes. You also like your excersaucer. Playing on the floor is another one of your favorite things to do. You also like going out for walks or to the store. You enjoy playing with the tags on your toys.

You are growing up SO fast. You got a new car seat this month. You are wearing 12-18 month clothes. You weigh about 20.5lbs and are probably 28inches long. You take a bath in the big bathtub. You have the greatest sense of humor, and you have learned how to squeal when you are happy. You can also fake cough. You've said Mama and Dada a few times. You also mimicked your grandmother by saying "Ok", which was really funny.

When I look at you, my heart hurts because I love you so much. I miss you when I'm at work. You are so lucky to have your Grandmom and Aunt Denise to take care of you. They are so awesome! You're awesome.

Love Always,
Mama Posted by Picasa
