Running

We've been having a fun summer, even though I am working (ugh, ugh and ugh). We've been to the "big beach" aka ocean, the aquarium, the zoo, and the "little beach" aka mom-mom's beach. Still working on a trip to the boardwalk, the sprayground and maybe the Children's museum.
Hopefully I'll get some good pics on Friday, whereever we go. My aquarium pics did not come out well at all, due to low lighting.

Into Everyone's Life a Little Rain Must Fall :)

Ian can now say the alphabet and count to 17. He can sing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and Old MacDonald. He can do a 20 piece jigsaw puzzle with just a little assistance. He's really into trucks and cars now, and has a few new catch phrases. Current favs are, "No no drama" (which I think he got from a Fergie song), "Funk!", and "Hi, Mommy" (which is his way of getting my attention or trying to get me to repeat something). At the doctor he weighed 31.5 lbs; apparenlty you can gain weight on Mac and Cheese along. He's also about 36 inches tall.

It's July - What's Going On?

This weekend, the fourth of July, has been really cloudy and drab. As a result, I want to do nothing but sit around and nap. However, I did venture out to the park with him this morning, but it was so wet and muggy and full of mosquitos! Yuck!
Ian has a rash. I'm not sure what it is, but we're venturing to the dr, tomorrow to get it looked at since it seems to be spreading. It doesn't seem to bother him, but it bothers me. :)
